What we collect, why, how long we keep it, and who can see it.
You give us: name or company name, phone, WhatsApp, WeChat, email, stall or warehouse address, and — for verification only — a photo of your ID or business licence. We collect automatically: pages viewed, search terms, device type, browser, IP address and server logs.
To verify who you are, display your listings, route enquiries, handle complaints, detect fraud and duplicate accounts, improve the Site, and comply with lawful requests from regulators or courts.
Contact details you choose to publish (WhatsApp, WeChat, phone, email, stall address) are public and visible to anyone, including search engines. ID photos, ID numbers and business licence numbers are never published — they are used only for verification.
Account data: while your account is open, plus 2 years after closure for dispute and legal purposes. ID images: deleted or redacted within 6 months of verification. Server logs: 90 days.
We do not sell personal data. We share it only: with your consent; with hosting and email providers acting on our instructions; with a counterparty to the extent needed to resolve a complaint (never ID numbers); or where required by law.
Our server is located in Hong Kong SAR. Because the Site serves overseas buyers, public listing and contact information is accessible worldwide. Where required, we will put in place a cross-border transfer assessment or standard contractual clauses.
You may request access, correction, deletion, withdrawal of consent or account closure by emailing info@biubiu2u.com. We respond within 15 working days. Deleting your account removes your listings but may not remove cached or archived copies immediately.
We use only essential cookies (session, preferences) and aggregate analytics. We do not run cross-site advertising trackers.
Data is transmitted over HTTPS. Access to verification documents is restricted. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data, we will notify affected users and the relevant authority as required.
The Site is for businesses. It is not intended for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
